Meet Chairman Board of Trustees
Professor Shehu Usman Abdullahi was born on 2nd February, 1951 at Ikara, the headquarters of Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State. He attended Ikara Primary School (1958-1960) and Soba Senior Primary School (1961-1963. He attended Provincial Secondary School (now Alhudahuda College), Zaria for his Secondary School education (1964-68) and Government College (now Barewa College), Zaria for his Higher School Certificate studies (1969-70). He obtained a Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria (1971-76) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the same field from University of Minnesota, USA (1979-82), specializing in Veterinary Urology.

1). Director Veterinary Teaching Hospital, ABU, Zaria (1988-1992);
2). Deputy Vice-Chancellor, ABU, Zaria (1994-1995);
3). Academy Provost, Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna (1996-2004); and
4). Vice-Chancellor, ABU, Zaria (2004-2009).
